Graphic + Interactive Design

Program Overview

The Graphic + Interactive Design program at Youngstown State University prepares students for a multitude of career paths. Building upon a rock-solid foundation in visual design, our students hone their skills in everything from package design to web and interactive media design. Graduates of our program are Emmy® Award-winning designers, creative directors, UX designers, marketing specialists, business owners, and more—reinventing visual communication and interaction for organizations across the globe.

Graphic + Interactive Design (GID) students work in collaborative workspaces dedicated to design instruction, inspiration, and critique. As a GID student, you’ll have stationary access to the cutting-edge technology and equipment you’ll need to thrive, including Mac workstations and peripherals, the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, access to large format printers, and more tools that augment your development as a designer.
