Presidential Mentor Application

Thank you for your assistance in identifying quality students to serve as Presidential Mentors. Nominees must have achieved upper-class status, be currently enrolled and in good standing with the University, and available to attend and participate in monthly meetings for the upcoming academic year, September through May.

The purpose of the Presidential Mentors Program is as follows:

To develop student leaders and provide opportunities for students to demonstrate their leadership skills.
To help the President and University leaders establish supportive, meaningful, and ongoing relationships with a broad cross-section of YSU students.
To provide the President with first-hand input from students designed to improve the campus climate, enhance the college experience, and stimulate the learning environment for all University students.
To provide a direct communication link for student leaders with the President.
To accomplish meaningful initiatives that enhance the University community.

Review of nominations will begin on April 1.
