Judges

The Office of Research Services is actively searching for judges from across campus and the community. Judges will be assigned presentations based upon their expertise and schedule. If you are interested in being a judge at QUEST 2024, please register here.

• Registration
  1. Registration for QUEST 2024 will take place on the Fourwaves Online Platform. 
     1. A YSU email address is preferred. 
  2. Register for QUEST
     1. Click Registration
     2. Complete your contact information
     3. Select the Judge role, availability, judging expertise, and preference
     4. Submit
  3. You will receive a confirmation email after registration. The very last line of the email contains a link to activate your Fourwaves account. Click the Activation Link
  4. Set your account password
     Your Fourwaves username and password are needed to access the assigned presentations on the day of the event. 
  5. Agree to the terms of use and privacy policy

  6. Submit

  All presentations will be scheduled according to discipline and subject.

  Presentation times, sessions, and other important details will be made available on-line on March 28, 2024.

• Scoring Criteria

  All scoring will take place within the Fourwaves Online Platform.

  The scoring for each project will be based on the number system of:
  1 = Poor 2 = Fair 3 = Good 4 = Very Good 5 = Excellent

  The criteria on which presentations will be judged are:

  1. Aesthetics
  2. Oral Communication and Expression
  3. Visual Presentation
  4. Knowledge of Topic
  5. Purpose
  6. Methodology and Execution
  7. Scholarly Importance
  8. Overall Evaluation
