I have published articles and a book on rock music and British culture in the mid-twentieth century; my book is entitled Working Class Heroes: Rock Music and British Society in the 1960s and 1970s. I just published an article comparing Italian Futurism in the 1910s and 1920s to the Mod subculture in London in the 1950s and 1960s. I am also pursuing a documentary project on the Manhattan punk scene of the mid-1970s.
