As a Sociologist, Dr. Fehlbaum follows the American Sociological Association (ASA) Code of Ethics (2018). The Code states that “Sociologists respect the rights, dignity, and worth of all people... In all of their work-related activities, sociologists acknowledge the rights of others to hold values, attitudes, and opinions that differ from their own” (5). She also shares a belief in the mission of the National Women's Studies Association (NWSA): “a vision of the world in which all persons can develop to their fullest potential and be free from all ideologies and structures that consciously oppress and exploit some for the advantage of others.”
