Students organize poverty simulation on campus for Feb. 3

The Bridges Out of Poverty Student Union at Youngstown State University hosts a poverty simulation 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3 in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center on campus.
The event simulates for participants what living in poverty is like.

BOPSU supports under-resourced college students by bringing awareness to issues they may face. The group is dedicated to changing the perceptions of and towards under-resourced college students by providing learning communities and support services.
Union officers are Myisha Patrick, president; Mecca Sims, vice president; Yvette Martin, treasurer; Taylor Dean, secretary; Karla Krodel and Chris Lettera, faculty advisors.
