Ohio SBDC Export Assistance Network hosts export compliance training
Join the Ohio SBDC Export Assistance Network at YSU for a full-day of comprehensive Export Compliance Training on December 4, 2024 in the Williamson College of Business Administration at YSU Campus. This training is geared to assist Ohio and Pennsylvania exporters with navigating the export process, streamline export sales, avoid costly mistakes, and establish export procedures.
The training will consist of six major modules: Structuring Export Sales to Foreign Markets, Contract Negotiation and Meetings Its Terms, Product Classification, Incoterms 2020 and Logistics, Export Documents (Air and Ocean) and Freight Forwarders, and Export Controls and Government Agencies. Attendees will learn through interactive, hands-on learning and receive a Certificate of Completion.
Training is open to companies who want a refresher and update on Export Compliance or anyone looking to begin exporting. People who should attend include international sales, export compliance, logistics and shipping, engineers who work on HTS classification, owners, or anyone who is involved in the company’s export process.
Registration is $195 per person and includes training, handouts, breakfast, coffee breaks and lunch. Register online.
