Africana Studies Minor

Africana Studies compliments any major field of study by providing students with an additional lens to look through as they seek to understand the world.  The goals of Africana Studies is help to gain a better understanding of the background and experiences of African people both in America and throughout the world, while understanding the interconnectedness among African people and all the people throughout the world.  Africana Studies minors will gain a greater appreciation of the history, culture, and contributions of African people and their impact on the world.
