Youngstown State University is hosting Ohio River Basin Consortium for Research and Education (ORBCRE) symposium and inviting for oral and poster presentations for the conference, which will include but are not limited to, the following topics:

  • Current status and threats to the Ohio River,
  • aquatic life and biological issues,
  • fracking and fracking-related water issues,
  • flooding and dam regulation
  • surface and ground water quality,
  • sediment transport,
  • hydropower and renewal energy,
  • water quality issues in the Great Lake regions,
  • cross current issues of environment and hydrology,
  • climate change impact on water resources.
