Online Learning is defined at YSU as instruction offered by any means where the student and faculty member are in separate physical locations or are using educational technology, such as a learning management or video conferencing system to complete coursework and attend course meetings.
There are various ways in which learning at a distance can be achieved. YSU uses the following categories to more clearly define these learning environments:
Web-Based: 100% asynchronous online instruction and interactions.
