Pre-Vet Society hosts pet clinic June 21

The Pre-Veterinary Society at Youngstown State University hosts an exam and vaccination pet clinic 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at the Wick Park Pavilion in Youngstown.

Exams are free, but there will be a small fee for any vaccinations or tests that are performed. All pets must be on a leash or in a travel cage. Christina Costarella, a licensed veterinarian, will be on staff at the clinic.

The YSU Pre-Veterinary Society is designed to equip students with the necessary connections and information needed to become a veterinarian. The clinic itself is designed to help students get hands on experience with veterinary procedures as well as shadowing experience.
