YSU launches 3 Day Startup program to increase student startups
The Entrepreneurship Center at Youngstown State University and 3 Day Startup will deliver a multi-day program, Nov. 10 - 12 at the Williamson College of Business Administration, that will assist student entrepreneurs from around the county.
Five to seven early stage ventures will emerge prepared to launch a product, approach investors and/or apply to a prestigious startup accelerator. This initiative is an investment in the future of aspiring Youngstown-based entrepreneurs to launch their companies. Thirty to fifty student entrepreneurs will participate in the initiative and immerse themselves in intense entrepreneurial training.
“Youngstown State represents a diverse pool of talent, and we are excited to provide students with the opportunity to embrace their entrepreneurial spirit,” said Joseph Angelo, director of the YSU Entrepreneurship Center.
3 Day Startup is an international 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that builds entrepreneurial capabilities in students and employees at schools, corporations, and governments through accelerated, immersive learning.
