Flute Studio holds recital Oct. 23 in Bliss Recital Hall

The Dana School of Music announces a recital by Kathryn Thomas Umble’s Flute Studio 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23 in Bliss Recital Hall.

Students include: Lindsey Kiselica, flute; Mckenzie Cooper, flute; Morgan Frederick, flute; Emily Karr, flute; Olivia Benna, flute; Veronica Erjavec, flute; Nadya Stratton, flute; Amber DeCaprio, flute; Brandi Perkins, flute; Anna Reitsma, flute; Sidney Charles, flute; Madeline Grimes, flute; Spencer Reed, piano; Eric Finkelstein, string bass; and Hobie Butcher, percussion.

They will perform a repertoire that includes both classical and contemporary selections from composers Gaubert, Clarke, Telemann, Taktakishvili and Bolling among others.
