Wednesday, Sept. 9, 12:15 p.m. Free Music at Noon concert featuring the Dana Brass Quintet in the Butler Institute of American Art. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 7 p.m. Ray Beiersdorfer, YSU professor of Geological and Environmental Sciences, presents “Earthquake Risks due to Fracking and Injection Wells in Northeast Ohio,” the first in the fall semester Speaker Series on Energy and the Environment in Cushwa Hall Room B100. The lectures are free and open to the public. Friday, Sept. 11, 7 p.m. YSU soccer takes on IPFW at Farmers National Bank Field on campus. The soccer team also plays Findlay at home 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13. Saturday, Sept. 12, 7 p.m. The YSU Penguins football team opens the home schedule against Robert Morris in Stambaugh Stadium.
