The YSU Board of Trustees meets on the following schedule in the Trustees Meeting Room on the first floor of Tod Hall: 11:45 a.m. Board Lunch (Manchester Room); 12:30 p.m. Academic Quality and Student Success Committee; 1:30 p.m. Collective Bargaining and Negotiations Subcommittee; 2:30 p.m. Intercollegiate Athletics Subcommittee; 3 p.m. University Affairs Committee; 4 p.m. Institutional Engagement Committee. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 12:15 p.m. Free Music at Noon concert featuring the Dana Brass Quintet in the Butler Institute of American Art. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 7 p.m. Ray Beiersdorfer, YSU professor of Geological and Environmental Sciences, presents “Earthquake Risks due to Fracking and Injection Wells in Northeast Ohio,” the first in the fall semester Speaker Series on Energy and the Environment in Cushwa Hall Room B100. The lectures are free and open to the public. Friday, Sept. 11, 7 p.m. YSU soccer takes on IPFW at Farmers National Bank Field on campus. The soccer team also plays Findlay at home 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13. Saturday, Sept. 12, 7 p.m. The YSU Penguins football team opens the home schedule against Robert Morris in Stambaugh Stadium.
