We are thrilled to offer this program for incoming First Year Students! We are looking for students who are excited to get involved early in the college career to join the FreshGuin Leaders Program.
Here is what you will gain by participating in the FreshGuin Leaders Program:
- A connection to a YSU student leader: your FreshGuin Leader Mentor is here to help you grow leadership skills and find opportunities at YSU
- You will create a resume and complete a mock Leadership Position interview throughout the academic year
- Make connections with other first year students who have similar leadership goals to you
- Participate in special opportunities throughout the year- FreshGuin Leaders will be offered opportunities other students won't receive
- Build a connection with the First Year Student Services professional staff
