The Excellence Training Center now offers all the programmable logic controller (PLC) courses that make up the Allen Bradley (AB)/Rockwell Automation (RA) maintainer and programmer PLC pathways. YSU’s ETC will issue a certificate upon completion of each class in the pathway. Students who successfully complete all the classes in a particular pathway, may take the certification test to receive the maintainer and/or programmer industry recognized credential through Rockwell Automation.

PLC pathways
AB/RA Programmer - CCP146, CCP151, CCP143, elective*
AB/RA Maintainer - CCP146, CCP153, CCCL21, elective*
CCP146 is the pre-requisite, and the courses should be taken in the order shown. The elective can be taken at any time.
*The ETC offers Industrial Ethernet Fundamentals for Manufacturing/CCP182 which is one of the elective options. This class is highly recommended.
PLC/FANUC pathway
AB CCP146, FANUC HandlingTool Operation and Programming, FANUC Robot-AB PLC integration
CCP146 and FANUC HandlingTool Operation and Programming are both pre-requisites for the FANUC Robot-AB PLC integration class and can be taken in any order.
Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing
Additive Manufacturing-FDM, Additive Manufacturing-(Metal) Laser Powder Bed Fusion, Additive Manufacturing-Vat Photopolymerization
Additive Manufacturing-FDM is the pre-requisite. Vat Photopolymerization and Metal can be taken in any order.
