Michael Loderstedt Exhibition

Michael Loderstedt has been making original prints, photographs, installations and artists books for over 30 years. His work has been featured recently in exhibitions at the Center for Book Arts and International Print Center in New York, Kaleid Editions in London, the Kulturranthaus and Alte Feuerwache Galerie in Dresden, Germany, and as part of the Porträt nach 100 Jahren in Hellerau, Germany. Here he created an installation of cut, folded and printed paper houses based on architecturally significant homes during the centennial anniversary of this German “Garden City”. He has completed international residencies at both the Frans Masereel Centrum in Kasterlee, Belgium and the Grafikwerstatt in Dresden, Germany. His work is included in the collections of The Cleveland Museum of Art, the Akron Art Museum, the Kupferstich Kabinett in Dresden, Progressive Insurance, The Cleveland Clinic Foundation and many others. He is a Professor of Art teaching printmaking at the School of Art at Kent State University. This exhibition is free and open to the public. The Solomon Gallery is located on the second floor of Bliss Hall.

For events held in Bliss Hall, parking is available most conveniently in the Wick Avenue Parking Deck (M30) for a $5 fee payable in cash only.
