Lit Youngstown’s 8th Annual Fall Literary Festival

Lit Youngstown’s 8th Annual Fall Literary Festival kicks off on Thursday, October 17 at the McDonough Museum of Art. The Festival will offer dozens of creative readings, craft talks, interviews, roundtables and writing workshops Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19, on and around Youngstown State University's campus. The bookfair will include nearly two dozen small presses, booksellers and programs. You must register for the conference to attend sessions (Registration will close September 15 or when all seats are filled.) For information and registration please go to https://www.lityoungstown.org/2024-fall-literary-festival There are three festival events that are free and open to the public: •Thursday, October 19 at 7:00pm at the McDonough Museum of Art: The Gathering-In will include a performance by the Tongue-in-Groove Band and poets, and an open mic. •Friday, October 18 at 7:00pm at the St. John's Episcopal Church: Keynote Reading by Hanif Abdurraqib. •Saturday, October 19 at 7:00pm at the Tyler History Center,: Reading by Ama Codjoe & Rachel Swearingen, Facilitator
