Dr. Cory Brozina

Dr. Cory Brozina is an associate professor and associate director of the Rayen School of Engineering at Youngstown State University. As associate director his duties include directing the First-Year Engineering Program and leading the Industrial & Systems Engineering Program as the program coordinator. 

His bachelor's and master's degrees are in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and his Ph.D. is in Engineering Education, also from Virginia Tech. 

His research combines student support and success with learning analytics to develop better support mechanisms for a wide range of students including first-year and non-traditional engineering students. Dr. Brozina currently has three NSF-funded projects totaling over $1.3M, which includes the largest NSF award at YSU of $1M.
