Accounting Major

Accounting is a field that will always be in demand. With a bachelor's degree, your opportunities for personal and professional growth are limitless.

What You'll Study

Whether you want to work toward becoming a Certified Public Accountant, go on to receive your MBA with a concentration in accounting or start a career out of college, you'll be ready for the field through our Accounting major.

You'll learn how to provide the financial information to help your organization in making business-related decisions by the end of the program.

There are also opportunities to build your professional portfolio by interning with a regional, national or even international business like most of our students do. Join the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and serve the community by preparing actual tax returns for local residents during tax season. Or amp up your leadership experience and try out for a position in one of the major's student organizations like Beta Alpha Psi.
