What You'll Study
Study the most current state of knowledge and best practices in educational leadership through our Doctor of Education degree program. It provides terminal professional preparation for public and non-public school administrators in the northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania arenas.
You'll master skills and knowledge related to educational management and instructional leadership, and you'll study education policy and planning to better understand the intricacies of the educational system and how it may affect student learning.
This program seeks to serve the students, parents and communities of the region by providing effective educational leadership in elementary, secondary and central office administrative positions. Our recent EdD candidates and graduates hold leadership positions as superintendents, division directors and school principals in more than 50 school districts in Ohio and western Pennsylvania. Others are employed in health and human service agencies, while some teach in higher education settings.
