Virtual Art Lecture: Yuehao Jiang

Yuehao Jiang is a Chinese new media artist and educator based in Los Angeles. Born in the 90s, her work examines the relationship between mass-produced commodities and digital data under the impact of consumerism.

 Yuehao’s work has been exhibited internationally, including the Brand Library & Art Center (Los Angeles, 2020), B4BEL4B (Oakland, 2020), Guardian Art Center (Beijing, 2019), K Museum of Contemporary Art (Seoul, 2018), Ars Electronica (Linz, Austria, 2017), and the Hammer Museum (Los Angeles, 2015). 

She holds an MFA in Design Media Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has been teaching as a lecturer at UCLA Design Media Arts since 2019.
