The Minority Work Experience Program is funded by the YSU Foundation to provide monies to foster student employment opportunities.

Campus offices and departments are encouraged to participate in this program by providing a student employment opportunity for between 5-11 hours per week for 10 weeks per semester. Each position offered must have a faculty or staff person willing to mentor the participant during the length of the program. All paperwork must be processed through the Office of Student Inclusion and Enrichment.

Students are eligible if they are currently enrolled and in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.3 and are willing to participate in supportive programs and services offered by the University.
