Learn how to operate a robot, and use Computer Automated Design (CAD) and industrial design processes to print a 3D object!

Students will learn what 3D printing is and how to use a 3D printer, find problems and design solutions to them using CAD software, print out their solutions, test them and return home with a finished 3D printed object.

Students will also learn about robots and cobots; what they do and the differences between them. They will gain an understanding of how to connect the robot to computers, and upload computer code to the robot.

The final day of camp will include a visit to Oh Wow Museum as well as students receiving certificates of completion for camp. Parents/Guardians are invited to join for the certificate ceremony on the final day.

Camp Information

Days/Times: Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 4:00PM (extended hours package available)

Ages: 9 - 14

Registration Deadline: Two weeks prior to the first day of camp

Camp Cost

$155 per child

$10 discount available for multiple registrations within one family (discount is applied after first registration)

*Note: If you are planning to enroll more than one child, please contact us prior to registering. The Division of Workforce Education and Innovation will assist in registration to ensure you receive your discount.

*Note:  You must register for the extended hours package if you are planning on utilizing the extended hours. Click HERE to register for the extended hours package.  Please reach out via phone or email if you only need one day of extended care.

Camp Policies

- The following waivers will need to be signed prior to first day of camp and uploaded as external files into Skills Accelerator. Registration is not final until your waivers are signed and returned. Waivers can be found on our website

- ETC Facility Injury Waiver 

- Pick-up Authorization

- Registration closes two weeks before start date of camp

- Camp cancellations can be made up until two weeks prior to the camp start date. A refund will be issued up until two weeks prior to the camp start date.

- Refunds will not be issued after the initial registration deadline (two weeks prior to the camp start date)
