Department of Art Lecture Series presents Richard Renaldi

Join us in the Museum Auditorium for a guest artist lecture by Richard Renaldi. Renaldi creates spontaneous and fleeting relationships between strangers for the camera, often pushing his subjects beyond their comfort levels. These relationships may only last for the moment the shutter is released, but these resulting photographs are moving and provocative, and raise profound questions about the possibilities for postive connection in a diverse society. Renaldi was named a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellow in Photography in 2015. Exhibitions of his photographs have been mounted throughout the US, Asia and Europe.
