BGS - Course Rotation

The following course rotation for the online Bachelor of General Studies completion program assumes that students will take 15 semester hours each of the 4 semesters. The actual courses offered each semester will vary but will always be sufficient for students to take this number of hours. Students will need to consult with their academic advisor prior to each semester for course selection.

 

COURSE ROTATION

   Semester 1 (15 credits)

  • choose one upper division course from those offered in English
  • choose one upper division course from those offered in History
  • choose one upper division course from those offered in Political Science
  • choose two additional upper division courses from those offered in English, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology

  Semester 2 (15 credits)

  • choose one upper division course from those offered in Psychology
  • choose one upper division course from those offered in Sociology
  • choose three additional upper division courses from those offered in English, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology

Semester 3 (15 credits)

  • choose three upper division courses from those offered in English, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology
  • choose one diversity course (from approved list) or one foreign language course
  • choose any one additional course from those being offered

Semester 4 (15 credits)

  • choose three upper division courses from those offered in English, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology
  • choose one diversity course (from approved list) or one foreign language course
  • capstone course (LASS 4880)
