Jennifer Jones Mosher

A graduate of the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, she holds a Master's in Opera from The Curtis Institute of Music, and served apprenticeships with opera companies in Miami and San Francisco. She studied Italian at L'Università per Stranieri in Perugia, Italy. Her concert repertoire includes Handel’s MESSIAH, J.S. Bach's Cantata #51, Mozart's REQUIEM and "Exultate, Jubilate," Strauss’ FOUR LAST SONGS, and Samuel Barber's KNOXVILLE: Summer of 1915.

Her operatic roles include Mimi in LA BOHEME (Western Opera Theater tour, Des Moines, Sacramento, New York City Opera's national tour), Liu in TURANDOT (Des Moines), SUOR ANGELICA (Natchez, Des Moines), Violetta in LA TRAVIATA (Merola, Western Opera Theater tour), Donna Anna in DON GIOVANNI (Dayton, Piedmont Opera), Micaëla in CARMEN (Opera Carolina, Augusta Opera), and Marguerite in FAUST (Des Moines).

She has taught at Ashland University, the MasterWorks Festival, and the Sharpsville Area Community Theater summer vocal workshop. She currently teaches at the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University, Thiel College, and maintains a private voice studio. Jennifer serves as president of the Warren-Youngstown Sigma Alpha Iota Alumnae, and also as worship ministry director at Cornersburg Baptist Church. She lives in Canfield with her husband, Dr. Allan Mosher, and their daughter, Julia.
