Abbey Kunce

Graduate Assistant Intern

Hi! My name is Abbey Kunce and I am a Graduate Assistant Intern here at the Center for Student Progress. As an undergraduate at YSU, I was involved in Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, serving as Treasurer and Vice President of Recruitment. ZTA encouraged me to become involved on campus so I became active in Panhellenic Council, Society for Human Resource Management, and Dance Ensemble to name a few. I graduated from YSU in May 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, Human Resource Management. Upon graduation, I worked for Walt Disney World where I realized my love of helping people. I am now working toward a Master’s Degree in Student Affairs here at YSU. Since I was lucky enough to have such a great college experience, I want to be able to help future students do the same. Through the Student Affairs program I am learning new skills to help students achieve not only a great undergraduate experience, but also academic success!

What advice would you give to your 20 year old self?

  • I would tell my 20 year old self to let go of the past. We are all moving onto a great, big, beautiful tomorrow and that’s what we should focus on!

Hot Heads or Chipotle?

  • Chiplote all the way! Gotta have that guac!
