    YSU CPE Day - MAY SESSION

    This annual full day conference provides CPA's, enrolled agents, and tax preparers with concurrent sessions, focusing on hot issues concerning tax law and tax regulations; accounting and auditing topics, ethics; and management/technology. The seminar provides 8 hours of CPE credit approved by the Accountancy Board of Ohio and Pennsylvania. There are also many opportunities to network with other accounting/finance professionals.

    YSU Institute on Taxation - JUNE SESSION

    The Youngstown Institute on Taxation, offered by the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University, is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. The seminar is designed for practicing accountants, enrolled agents, and tax preparers who want to stay current on tax regulations and laws, and gain insight into tax planning techniques. The seminar provides 8 hours of CPE credit approved by the Accountancy Board of Ohio and Pennsylvania.

    YSU Governmental & Not-for-Profit Update

    Join the Williamson College of Business Administration at YSU for the YSU Governmental & Not-for-Profit Update on Friday, October 22, 2021. Registration will be from 8:00 am - 8:30 am. The seminar runs from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

    The sessions will cover areas of accounting and auditing for governmental and not-for profit organizations. The accounting pronouncements include those from the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the Government Accounting Standards Board. The auditing standards include the AICPA’s Auditing Standards Board pronouncements, the Government Accountability Office’s Government Auditing Standards, and the Uniform Guidance, which includes the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Updates on current governmental and not-for-profit accounting and auditing issues including CPE Yellow Book will be covered.

    The YSU Annual Tax Update is a fast-paced, one-day course covering the latest developments in taxation with an emphasis on real world applications.
