Art History Minor
Step into the minds of artists as you examine the different styles and types of art throughout history.
What You'll Study
Combining the study of social and political history, ancient mythologies, and world religions, the Art History minor will prepare you for a career as an art historian.
With courses in stylistic analysis and visual literacy, you'll utilize the extensive museum and gallery resources right here in Youngstown, as well as nearby Cleveland and Pittsburgh.
Along with classroom studies, you'll also receive hands-on experience. Internships, volunteer opportunities, art student organizations and part-time work at the McDonough Museum of Art or the Butler Institute of American Art on campus are at your fingertips.
